Testing Changes Locally
Prerequisites
- You'll need Ruby installed on your system. The required version can be found in
.ruby-version. - You'll need the bundler Ruby Gem installed. You can do this with
gem install bundler. - You'll need Node installed, too. The required version can be found in
package.json.
Fetching dependencies
You can always fetch the latest dependencies by opening the command line and running script/bootstrap:
$ script/bootstrap
Starting the site
You can start the site with script/server:
$ script/server
Loading site data...
Compiling site...
…
Site compiled in 5.81s.
While the server is running, you can see the site in your browser at http://localhost:4000.
